Church of architect Jože Plečnik

Tolmin museum
It is located in the former Coronini manor in the middle of Tolmin, keeps the rich cultural heritage of the Posočje region. Exceptional finds from Most na Soči, especially from the period of the Early Iron Age, stand out at the permanent exhibition of the Naplavine of the summit of history. An attractive display of the Tolmin peasant revolt in 1713 stands out.

Javorca, memorial Church of the Holy Spirit
A wooden sanctuary rises high above the Tolminka river - a memorial church of the Holy Spirit in Javorca. It is dedicated to the fallen Austro-Hungarian defenders of the Battle of the Isonzo Front of Tolmin (1915-1917). As the most beautiful monument of the First World War on the territory of the Republic of Slovenia, it became one of the historic monuments bearing the mark of European cultural heritage in 2007.

Russian Chapel on the Vršič Pass
Vršič is the largest mountain pass in Slovenia (1611m), connecting Gorenjska with Trenta. Russian prisoners of war were it built during the First World War. The Russian chapel reminds them of their sacrifices under the passage.
Kanin
The highest mountain ski resort in Slovenia (2200m). Visit Kanin is also suitable in the summer time, where you can enjoy in sport activities and different views even to the sea.
Gewerkenegg castle
The Idrija castle, which dominates the old part of the city, has preserved the historical name of Gewerkenegg, which in German means a mining castle. It was sewn in the years 1522-1533 for the needs of the Mercury Mine.
Tolmin gorges
Tolmin Gorges are the lowest entry point to the Triglav National Park. The circular path leads us through gorges of the Tolminka and Zadlascica rivers. The biggest attraction is the Devil's Bridge, 60m high above the Tolminka River.
